Ayurvedic Yoga Massage
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a beautiful and effective deep tissue Indian oil massage, which can be followed by assisted, passive yoga stretches.
It works deeply in tissues and joints of the body and intuitively follows breath of the client. Each session is about unique connection with the client and the needs of the client determine the flow of the massage.
This type of massage can be adapted to deeply relaxing massage or it can be specific to tend to any soreness or recovery from injuries.
It can also help with stiffness, pain, insomnia, anxiety and stress relief….etc.
What to expect:
A session starts on the mattress on the floor with an oil massage using hands and feet. This gradually warms up and softens muscle tissues, fascia and organs, helps breathing and improves circulation and slowly takes the client into deep relaxation. Working with breath helps the parasympathetic symphatetic nervous system to relax.
Natural & essential oils are used during the massage as well as a powder from the ground root of Acorus calamus, a wetland plant in the sweetflag family. This gives pleasant exfoliating feeling, but mainly helps to improve circulation and warms up the tissues, intensifying the benefits of the massage.
